For this litter, Ginger was temporarily turned into a "California Girl" - staying at Elessar for a few months after being dropped off from the BooFest specialty in Lafayette, CA. While awaiting her tryst, she got to hang out with half-sister Kyra and her nieces and nephews from the Elessar "Garden Roses" litter (Strider and Kyra).

Ginger, a multiple Best Opposite Sex in Specialty show winner, is a littermate to Tyler, aka ISWS Rarities IABCA Champion Gryffyn's Just Push Play. Tyler has a Rarities Best in Show win, ISWS Specialty Winners Dog (Silkenfest '04), multiple ISWS Specialty Best of Breed wins, and an IABCA Best Rare Breed in Show. Ginger's father is Rarities Best in Show and Multiple Reserve Best in Show winner, Rarities IABCA Ch. Kristull Ivanhoe - and her mother Josi is the first Silken to achieve the Rarities Grand Champion title.
