Shugah won Reserve Winners Bitch in a nice-sized major entry.

July 9-13, 2008
River Cluster
San Antonio, Texas

Solo was Best of Breed on the 10th and 11th, with paternal half-brother Perry taking the breed on the 12th.

July 4-6, 2008
Dallas Show Cluster
Dallas, Texas

On Friday, Deckard was Reserve Winners Dog and Nox was Reserve Winners Bitch with Shugah winning her first point by going Winners Bitch/Best Opposite Sex.

On Saturday, Deckard went Winners Dog for a major and Shugah went Winners Bitch AND Best of Winners for the crossover major!

On Sunday Shugah was Reserve and Solo was awarded Best of Breed.

Muskogee and Seminole Kennel Club Shows
Oklahoma

Solo won Best of Breed all 4 days and Faina was Winners Bitch/BOS all 4 days!

Riverside West KC of Greater New Orleans Show

Solo won Best of Breed (over this year's National BOB winner!) and went on to take a Group 4.

Deckard and Faina won Reserves.

Big Spring KC Shows
Big Spring, TX

Solo took Best of Breed both days of the show cluster and came away with a Group 2 at Sunday's show under Stephen Hubbell.

Shreveport and D'Arbonne KC Shows
Bossier City, LA

Solo won Best of Breed 3 of the 4 days, with paternal half-brother Perry winning the breed on Saturday.

Solo won Best of Breed both days!

March 15-16, 2008
Houston KC and Galveston County KC dog shows
Houston, TX

On Sunday at the Galveston County KC show Solo won best of Breed under judge Barbara Ann Langlois and then went on to be awarded a Hound Group IV by June Penta.

March 1-2, 2008
Faith City Kennel Club of Wichita Falls dog shows
Wichita Falls, TX

At the Sunday show under breeder/judge Jan Leikam, Bugg won the Open class and went on to win Best Opposite over 4 bitch specials for her first major. Solo won Best of Breed.

At the RMBC specialty Solo received an Award of Merit. The judge was the one he had seen earlier in the week at Westminster!

This year both Victor and I were able to attend - and what an experience it was! Solo did make the cuts, but in the end did not get anything. But it was nice to still be considered a little more than some of the others present!
